Do Recruiting Videos Really Work?

With college budgets being slashed, a college recruiting video is more important then ever.

I had a great conversation this past week with a college coach. He shared some important wisdom that I want to pass on to you.
And a good video is a huge step forward – “I know that I won’t get to see the vast majority of the kids who contact me,” this coach told me. If a college coach can easily watch your video and see that you’re legit in five minutes, you’re going to go on a short list of players he’s going to actively try to see play in person.

Here are a few stories from some of our athletes parents. My son plays for Navy!

I wanted to let you know that Claire committed this week to attend and play basketball at the University of Chicago. She is really, really excited. Your video was a huge asset in the recruiting process. It persuaded Chicago to travel to DC last week to watch her play, and that visit was followed a few days later by an offer from them. The video also attracted interest from quite a few other schools, and she ended up with some very good options. Many thanks. I wanted you to know that your good work truly made a difference for us!-John

We want to thank you for the great job you and your staff did in filming and putting together Patti’s soccer video, which we sent to the colleges that she is interested in attending. She actually has about 8 schools that are interested in her and 2 of them are solely based on viewing the video – you did such a great job on that for us!!! We have a full agenda for the next several months through spring break to visit those schools that she has yet to see. We are so pleased with the outcome and would recommend your company to others in a heartbeat. Again, thank you – we will let you know how it goes!!! -Cathy
