Networking In Your Area

Networking In Your Area

It’s hump day. You’re over manic Monday, but you’re starting to get that ache for the weekend. Friday is within reach, but you’re struggling with that so close, yet so far feeling…

We get it, but today we want to brighten up your Wednesday with good food, great folks and a chance to enliven your business. On the third Wednesday of the month—we’re holding Wake-up Wednesday!

It’s one of our favorite days of the month. Jeff Philips, president at In Focus Studios, has been running the group with a great passion for the benefits of networking and a desire to be a part of enhancing Pittsboro’s sense of community.

“I believe in networking,” Philips said. “I’ve seen it work for other people; I’ve seen it work personally. Although I definitely reap the benefits, I don’t hold this meeting for personal gain. I’m passionate about helping small businesses succeed and build their clientele.”

On the third Wednesday of each month, Philips draws locals together at the Carolina Brewery for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. Each attendee is given a minute to talk about him or herself and promote his or her business or cause. Then, a keynote speaker addresses the group with valuable information regarding his or her professional experience.
